The website is the property of the 'Coopérative des Sauniers de l'Ile de Ré'. Any total or partial reproduction must be systematically submitted for approval by the 'Coopérative des Sauniers de l'Ile de Ré'.
Any order placed on our website subjects the customer, without reservation, to the present terms and conditions of sale.
The salt and other food products cannot be returned or refunded due to food safety reasons.
Any photograph depicting the product cannot be considered contractual in particular in the event of a change in packaging.
1. Acceptance of the terms and conditions of sale.
The confirmation of the order implies acceptance of the present terms and conditions of sale.
2. Confirmation of the order.
The order can only be considered final after receiving the e-mail of confirmation from La Cabane des Sauniers de l'Ile de Ré. Our society reserves the right to refuse to execute the order if the customer does not provide the necessary guarantees for execution of the sale or in the event of supply issues, transport or any other legitimate reason whatsoever. Any waiver or contrary clause will only be valid if it has been expressly agreed in writing by the Coopérative.
3. Pricing.
The prices of our merchandise correspond to the prices indicated on the website on the date of the order.
Prices are expressed in euros and include VAT. The prices indicated on our website do not include delivery fees or custom fees, importation taxes or any other taxes that remain the responsibility of the customer.
The Coopérative des Sauniers de l'Ile de Ré assumes no legal responsibility in the case of non-payment of these taxes by the customer.
4. Payment
The payment of the order will be primarily online by credit card or check (with a copy of the confirmation of payment) by mail.
5. Delivery
The cost of delivery varies according to the weight of the package and the country of destination.
Delivery is by mail and is considered completed upon validation of the delivery slip by the customer.
The average delivery time is 3 business days after confirmation of the order and payment of the total amount due. This average delivery time is given as an indication and the failure to comply with this deadline cannot result in termination of the order or damages.
6. Guarantees
The customer receives the legal guarantee of eviction and hidden defects (article 1625 and according to the civil code).
In the case of claims or disputes, the customer should first contact the Cooperative to find an amicable solution.
7. Withdrawal deadline
The customer has a deadline of withdrawal of 14 days from the date of reception of the merchandise, without proof nor payment of penalties.
The customer must return the product in its original packaging and undamaged. The return shipping costs of the product are the customer's own responsibility.
Any damaged product will not be taken back.
The non-reception of the merchandise by the customer cannot be considered a use of the right of withdrawal.
The Cooperative will refund the undamaged product and the costs of a normal delivery within 30 days after return.
Certain products such as perishable goods are not under the right of withdrawal and cannot be refunded.
8. Execution
The obligations stipulated in the present terms and conditions of sale will be suspended in the case of a force majeure event, such as is defined by the French courts, for the total duration of the event.
9. Reservation of property rights
The seller and his beneficiaries reserve ownership of the merchandise delivered by them until total payment of all sums which are due to them by the customer as a result of delivery. However, the risks of transport are transferred to the customer during delivery. The merchandise delivered by the seller should in consequence be stored in optimum conditions by the customer.
10. Applicable law
The French law is applicable to the present contract.
11. Protection of personal information
In accordance with the Data Protection Act, the processing of personal information relating to internet users has been declared to the National Commission for Data Protection under the notification of declaration n° 1104564.
The customer has a right of access to, of rectification of and deletion of data concerning them.
